“Many thanks to many people. You know who you are.  I would not of gone anywhere in life if it weren’t for those people who took special interest in me. People who gave me a chance, when others wouldn’t. People who believed in me, when some couldn’t see.  People who helped me out, when others just wanted to hurt me. I am truly thankful for all the people that have helped me get to this point, even though this is just the beginning, it has been a very long and hard journey. I may be one person, but I have an army behind me and it started with my family and friends.”

Mom and Dad, I’ll never forget the sacrifices you made for me and for always loving me.

Coach Ed Prytherch, for getting me through high school in one piece with the desire to still run.

Coach Luiz Oliveria for recognizing my talent and wanting to see it flourish.

Coach Brooks Johnson for sticking with me even when I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease and helping me pick up the pieces after my terrible battle with it.

All my Gifted and Talent teachers throughout my school days, who allowed ME to be ME!

All the fantastic people I “discovered” who were instrumental in my recovery from Lyme Disease. It is curable!
